He pours cups of sake for himself and the six captains before emptying the rest of the sake into a very large cup for the Straw Hats. Bartolomeo then restates their request to serve under Luffy, whom they will officially bond with by drinking the sake, but he refuses to drink, saying he does not like the taste. The seven captains are shocked, saying that this is not about the taste, but Luffy continues to refuse, knowing that he would have full control over thousands of people. Bartolomeo tells him that this is a good thing, as they can help Luffy defeat powerful enemies in the New World. Some of the captains get annoyed at the refusal, with Sai and Ideo suggesting that they should force him to drink. Finally, Luffy tells them that he does not want control over them because it would not let him sail freely and become Pirate King like he wanted to. Luffy tells the captains that they already had a bond after they worked together to defeat Doflamingo, and he would come help any of them if they came calling.
Production values are the glossiest in the trilogy, though Chou Yi-hsien's bright, colorful camerawork lacks the impromptu playfulness of "Puff's" handheld lensing. Man Lim-chung's production design and Polly Chan's costumes are models of urban chic, but drain out much of Hong Kong's messy but vital local ambience.

He told him look for someone that had a good body and God would be happy with him. Hal wanted to make his dad happy and based his life around his words. That's the basis of Shallow Hal, which was about him learning a lesson and changing his worldview. The story is about not basing people off of looks. This is a surprising theme because the movie was by the Farrelly brothers who were known for their crude humor. Instead of going raunchy like the Farrellys usually did they were far more light hearted as this was a romantic comedy. For example they played on the opposites that Hal and his friend Mauricio (Jason Alexander) would see in women. It worked overall as this was a very funny love story with a message.
