That's over. We don't live in the same states anymore, so one of us always took time off work and flew to the other's state to watch the new movies. During this "Star Wars Week" we had every couple years, we would see the new film a minimum of 5 times together. We only watched TLJ once. For Solo we canceled "Star Wars Week" entirely. There are no plans to see Episode 9 (either together or separately) theatrically. Neither of us has any plans to visit Galaxy's Edge (which, prior to TLJ we both would have traveled to see opening day, no matter what the cost). We both used to upgrade our home theater/movie collections based entirely on the availability of SW on the newest format. We had multiple versions of SW on VHS. We had the OT and TPM on Laserdisc. We bought DVD players when SW came out on DVD. We purchased Blu Ray players when SW came out on Blu Ray. We bought new TVs when the new formats demanded it. We acquired entirely new movie collections based on the catalyst of SW being released on whatever the new format was.

Even on a subconscious level humans could tell they were being controlled. There is no more need for a One because the imbalance of rejection has been solved. This is because the paradox of freedom is that once you're allowed to leave without conditions, you'll stay. The Matrix being endowed with love means that the pursuit of purpose is now unlimited, the distortions of truth gone and the paradox of choice represented and integrated mathematically.
